Portfolio: Grannell Community Energy

Grannell Community Energy already had a WordPress website, but it was old and creaking a bit, and no longer meeting their needs.

I’m connected via other clients to the board of directors at Grannell, so an introduction was made and I worked closely with the board to produce a fully bilingual WordPress website to their specification and satisfaction.

Design-wise, the board fancied something similar to what I’d done for Ynni Teg in their most recent redesign; it was just a case of reproducing what I’d done for Ynni Teg with the correct branding and imagery.

Grannell’s board wanted a scrolling library of recent blog posts on the home page, and this was easily achieved with a plugin and some custom CSS to style it. Add a Mailchimp account and integration, some social sharing buttons and some downloadable PDFs, and the new website was good to go.
