Portfolio: Lucy Bradley, Private Chef

When Lucy sold her previous business, Mojo’s in Rhosneigr, she told me that after a short break she’d be back as a private chef and would be needing a new website.

Sure enough, in early summer 2023 Lucy got back in touch to ask me to build a new one-pager WordPress website for her new business: Lucy Bradley, Private Chef.

With such beautiful branding, I was keen to do something a little different with the ‘back to top’ links on this site; rather than adding one to each section divider, I found a neat little plugin that pops a hovering ‘back to top’ image at the bottom of the website. This only appears once you’ve scrolled below the fold – a little feature that appealed to me so much, I ended up using it on WP Websites Wales too! While I’ve stuck to a simple arrow for my own website, on Lucy’s I took advantage of the beautiful branding imagery she provided, so visitors can click a little lobster to return to the top of the page.

Lucy’s website features some beautiful photos of her delicious food, and seven downloadable sample menus to really get visitors’ mouths watering! We’ve also included a testimonials slider, because Lucy’s clients are very generous with their praise – and she deserves it!
