Portfolio: YnNi Teg
YnNi Teg have been my clients for about seven years. Two years ago, the website I originally built for them was looking a little dated, so they asked if I could make some changes to the design and, while I was at it, update the content too. In September 2024 with a new team member on board to oversee the website, the organisation asked for another design update to reflect changes in the organisation and the wider industry.
The 2024 design refresh has included full-width heading/image panels for each page, an updated footer, and new imagery including some attractive icons provided by the client.
There’s plenty of white space, giving a nice open feel to the content, but we’ve also added some callout panels with light-coloured backgrounds to pack a bit of extra punch where needed. Further, we paid extra attention to the ‘Projects’ page, and instead of cramming everything onto one page as we had in the past we created a sub-page for each project to make it all much easier to navigate.
The website is fully bilingual, with a language switcher in the navigation enabling visitors to view any page in either English or Welsh. Branded social media links in the header and footer encourage visitor engagement, and there’s plenty of room for adding new projects as and when they arise.
