Portfolio: MEA Directory

Note: The MEA Directory is a project by Marches Energy Advice (MEA) which was initially known as Future Ready Homes. I built the directory website under the Future Ready Homes brand in 2024, but the FRH project was taken back into the MEA brand in 2026 so I rebranded the directory website for the client. The text below refers to the original directory website, but the link has been updated.

Future Ready Homes already had a very lovely website, but they wanted to extend it to include a searchable, sortable directory of retrofit advisors and installers to add value for the website’s visitors.

After some discussion, we decided that rather than make changes to the existing website, we would register a new domain and build a website there which clearly carries forward the brand imagery and styling from the main business, ensuring the relationship between the two sites remains clear.

The MEA Directory website utilises premium upgrades to an already very good, free business directory plugin, giving the organisation access to additional features such as rate and review, Google Maps and more. We worked closely with the team at Future Ready Homes and their partner, Marches Energy Agency, making many adjustments along the way until everything was just perfect.
