Portfolio: Northlodge Eco Holidays

Jane, who I knew through her work with another of my clients, contacted me to ask if I’d be able to help with her own business website. She’d had a website for years with another supplier, but he was about to retire from web design so Jane would need to find someone else to host the website – and while I was at it, would I also mind redesigning and rebuilding it?

Of course, I was more than happy to help!

Jane produced new copy and photography and sent these to me with some little icons her husband had designed, which were to be used as part of the website’s navigation. Having always had a brown website, Jane fancied a real change in the colour scheme and sent through samples of colours to consider, and together we created a brand new palette for the new website.

Wanting to really show off the beauty of the location for her eco-friendly glamping business, Jane asked if the new website could include galleries of photos which could be enlarged at a click, as well as unique image slideshows at the top of every page.

Jane is delighted with her new website, and told me: “I no longer cringe about the website especially when talking to visitors at the site who ask about direct bookings”.
